GRIT ON THE SOCCER FIELD

Brandon Garcia, second grader at Cameron Park Elementary School, tried out and was placed on an U10 Triangle United team. He was the youngest player on his team. He is technically an U8 player, but played up 2 years. The first few weeks were tough. He played against bigger, faster, and taller kids. At about the midway point of the season he picked it up and started showing some real grit. He ended the season with 8 goals and eight assists over the last six games. He’ll be playing on the U10 team again this fall.
